Our aim was to review recent advances in bronchiectasis and how these relate to older individuals.
Recent FindingsBronchiectasis is predominantly a disease of older individuals. Advancing age is a determinant of outcome in bronchiectasis. Novel therapies with the potential to alter the disease course have recently been approved. Older individuals are underrepresented in clinical trials.
