摘要

Purpose of Review

To summarize the current use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), discuss the advantages and limitations of its application in clinical practice, and provide future directions for research.

Recent Findings

PH is a progressive and heterogeneous disease with non-specific symptoms and significant diagnostic delays. AI applied to electronic health record data and varied diagnostic tests, such as chest imaging, electrocardiography and echocardiography, can facilitate diagnosis, classification and prognostication in PH.

Summary

The application of AI in medicine has increased dramatically over the past decade. While mostly utilized as a research tool thus far, AI has potential to transform clinical practice related to the diagnosis and management of PH.
