Progress in research on the effects of preharvest inducers on postharvest fruit disease resistance and physiological disorders
摘要
Preharvest factors are important influencing sources for postharvest disease control and storage preservation of fruits. Plant inducers are a class of immune-active compounds that can stimulate or prime the endogenous immunity of plants to combat pathogenic invasions. In this paper, we comprehensively review the current research progress, elucidate the application of preharvest inducer treatments for fruit diseases, summarize the physiological mechanisms underlying preharvest inducer treatments on enhancing fruit postharvest disease resistance by inducing structural and enzymatic defense responses. Furthermore, we provide insights into future directions for inducers’ development, aiming to offer valuable references for research, application, and advancement of preharvest disease control treatment technology.
