<p>Artificial intelligence (AI) has profoundly impacted various medical fields, including dermatology, which is to a large extent an image-based discipline. Initially applied in general dermatology, AI has expanded into aesthetic dermatology, where it assists in integrating objective approaches with the aesthetic judgment of dermatologists. This review explores the role of AI in aesthetic dermatology, focusing on skin condition assessment, diagnosis, treatment optimization, and patient education, as well as the challenges and future directions in this evolving field.</p>
