Preassigned-Time Projective Combination Synchronization of Delayed Two-Layer Networks with Partial Couplings

This research explores preassigned-time projective combination synchronization (PTPCS) of two-layer networks (TLNs) with time delays. The partial couplings and intermittent couplings are considered to describe the limited communication and potential communication failure. Several control schemes are engineered to ensure the goal of synchronization. A synchronization criterion is obtained by employing the Lyapunov functional analysis to guarantee the PTPCS of TLNs. For comparison with fixed-time (FDT) synchronization, FDT projective combination synchronization is also established. Finally, the validity of our results is confirmed via numerical simulations.
