Reduced Order Modelling of Renewable Energy Integrated Power System Using DT-RHC Approach
摘要
In this article, the approach of order reduction is used to approximate the renewable energy integrated power system (REIPS). The methods used are direct truncation (DT) and Routh–Hurwitz criteria (RHC) to obtain the reduced-order model (ROM) of the REIPS. The numerator coefficients of ROM are calculated using the DT method, and the denominator parameters are obtained using the RHC method. A numerical example of REIPS of the order of eleventh is used to show the usefulness of the suggested approach. The application of the direct truncation (DT)-Routh–Hurwitz criteria (RHC) (DT-RHC) approach in the frequency domain model order reduction is presented for the first time in this REIPS, making this work innovative. The step response, impulse response, Bode, Nyquist, and pole-zero plots for the eleventh-order REIPS and ROMs are presented. The ROM generated by the suggested technique for the original higher-order system is compared with ROMs obtained through other methods using both graphical and tabular representations. The time domain specifications, eigenvalue roots, and performance error indices are included to support the suggested methodology. The presented outcomes validate the effectiveness and efficacy of the recommended approach.
