Conceptual Ethics and the Apt Curation Model
摘要
Mollema’s reframing of my proposal as conceptual engineering is illuminating, and his emphasis on conceptual ethics is valuable. However, I argue that the Apt Curation Model (ACM) already provides substantial conceptual-ethical justification through its preservation of epistemic responsibility and compatibility with existing intellectual practices. Rather than demanding comprehensive conceptual ethics before adoption, we should recognize conceptual engineering as iterative: provisional adoption, practical testing, and refinement based on experience. This constructive exchange advances our understanding of both the ACM’s strengths and the legitimate questions requiring further investigation.
