<p>Leaf spot disease of Aloe vera (<i>Aloe barbadensis</i> Mill.) was prevalent year-round, peaking in February, with symptoms of reddish-brown to dark-brown sunken spots on leaves. The pathogen, isolated in February 2022–2023 in Kalyani, West Bengal, was identified as <i>Colletotrichum siamense</i> through morphological and phylogenetic characterisation. This is the first report of <i>C. siamense</i> causing leaf spot on Aloe vera in India.</p>
