摘要

The gap between academic research and its industrial applications and exploitation is well known. Although it is possible to find examples of successful technology transfers, governmental and academic strategies to approach businesses to develop or offer basic and applied research, still require improvements. In other words, the intersection between different perspectives including objectives, strategies, cultures, and the entities’ time perceptions, remains a challenge that needs to be addressed more effectively. This research aims to present a systematic literature review and, through it, propose technology demonstrators’ guidelines to facilitate the communication between academia and businesses, with an aim to align reciprocal interests, such as funding and novelty (i.e. manufacturing improvements, new products, capabilities, materials, markets, new technologies, and others), respectively. The standpoint of the guidelines’ proposal is based on cards, which are visual aids that denote to technology readiness levels, capable of proving concepts and competencies, and enabling marketing ways in which the universities and research institutions can aggregate new ventures. An application was conducted under the SC2C.Aero, a convergence centre for aerospace technologies in southern Brazil. As a result, workshops and partnership projects emerged, indicating the relevance of the proposal and its valuable contribution to address the gap.
