Relationship Between Preoperative PET-CT SUVmax Values and Solid Component in Endometrioid Type Endometrial Cancer
摘要
To evaluate the relationship between preoperative PET-CT SUVmax values and tumor solid component ratio in endometrioid type endometrial cancer patients.
MethodsThis retrospective study included 53 patients with endometrioid type endometrial cancer who underwent surgery between January 2018 and January 2024. All patients had preoperative PET-CT imaging. Clinicopathological features, SUVmax values, and solid component ratios were analyzed. Statistical analysis included correlation analysis and ROC curve analysis.
ResultsThe median SUVmax value was 22.0 (4.4–66.5) and median solid component ratio was 2.0% (1–99%). SUVmax values showed significant correlations with tumor grade (p = 0.012), myometrial invasion depth (p = 0.035), tumor size (p = 0.009), and LVSI status (p = 0.034). A significant positive correlation was found between SUVmax values and solid component ratio (r = 0.359, p = 0.008). ROC analysis revealed that SUVmax > 29 could predict Grade 3 tumors with 83.33% sensitivity and 81.25% specificity (AUC = 0.851).
ConclusionsPreoperative PET-CT SUVmax values correlate significantly with important prognostic factors including solid component ratio in endometrioid type endometrial cancer. These findings suggest that SUVmax could serve as a valuable biomarker for risk stratification and treatment planning.
