<p>This study aimed to investigate the impact of story-inspired robotics play on preschool children’s environmentally friendly attitudes and computational thinking (CT) in the context of sustainable education. This study employed a comparison-group design: 20 preschool children in the experimental group participated in 10 sessions of sustainability-themed story-inspired robotics play, whereas 20 children in the comparison group engaged in free robotics play unrelated to sustainable education. The data were analyzed using a repeated-measures two-way ANOVA to compare pre- and post-test scores between the experimental and comparison groups. The experimental group demonstrated significant interaction effects over time, showing greater improvements in environmentally friendly attitudes and CT than the comparison group. Overall, the present study confirms that story-inspired robotics play integrating storytelling with robot programming offers a promising approach for supporting preschool children in meaningfully connecting sustainability-related knowledge, skills, and attitudes by engaging their heads, hands, and hearts. Given that Korea’s national curriculum mainly emphasizes environmental and social aspects, early childhood settings need sustainable education programs that also incorporate economic dimensions to support integrated practices.</p><p>본 연구는 지속가능발전교육을 위한 이야기 기반 로봇 놀이가 유아의 환경친화적 태도와 컴퓨팅 사고력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비교집단 설계를 적용하였으며, 실험집단의 유아 20명은 지속가능발전 주제를 반영한 이야기 기반 로봇 놀이에 총 10회 참여하였고, 비교집단의 유아 20명은 지속가능교육과 관련이 없는 자유 로봇 놀이에 참여하였다. 수집된 자료는 실험집단과 비교집단의 사전·사후 검사 점수를 비교하기 위하여 반복측정 이원분산분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 실험집단은 시간에 따른 유의한 상호작용 효과를 보이며 비교집단에 비해 환경친화적 태도와 컴퓨팅 사고력에서 더 큰 향상을 나타냈다. 종합하면, 스토리텔링과 로봇 프로그래밍을 통합한 이야기 기반 로봇 놀이는 유아가 머리, 손, 마음을 함께 활용하여 지속가능성과 관련된 지식, 기술, 태도를 의미 있게 연결하도록 지원하는 유망한 교육적 접근임을 확인하였다. 한편, 한국의 국가 교육과정이 주로 환경적·사회적 측면을 강조하고 있다는 점을 고려할 때, 유아교육 현장에서는 경제적 차원까지 포괄하는 지속가능교육 프로그램을 통해 통합적인 실천을 지원할 필요가 있다.</p>
