<p>Paleo-highs of southwest Iran are important from both academic and industry perspectives. These basement structural highs play a key role in reservoir and source rock quality. The Hendijan-Bahregansar paleo-high in the Dezful embayment affected the Ramshir Oilfield and several other oil fields in the region. In this paper, seismic studies including seismic impedance inversion and seismic facies clustering, well log data analysis, and reservoir fluid chemical and physical properties analysis have been used to investigate reservoir and source rock quality near the Hendijan-Bahregansar paleo-high in the southeastern part of the Ramshir Oilfield. The results from well log analysis indicate changes in the depositional facies of the Asmari Formation and erosion of the sedimentary layers in the Sarvak Formation near the paleo-high. Furthermore, the results from seismic inversion and seismic facies clustering show the Hendijan-Bahregansar fault augmented acoustic impedance and dolomitization in the southeastern part of the Asmari reservoir. The Hendijan-Bahregansar fault also affected fluid chemical properties, Gas Oil Ratio, and bubble point pressure of the reservoirs in the Ramshir Oilfield. Moreover, the estimated Total Organic Carbon at the wells shows a decrease in the overall Total Organic Carbon of the Pabdeh Formation near the Hendijan-Bahregansar fault.</p>
