Virtual Reality Revolution: Redefining Investment Decision-Making Through Enhanced Risk Perception
摘要
The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of virtual reality (VR) on investors’ perception of risk and decision-making processes in the financial domain. The study aims to assess the psychological effects of VR use in financial simulations and explore how VR can augment financial decision-making tools. Participants were recruited through college notice boards and WhatsApp groups for a study involving a virtual trading platform called Moneybhai. A structured questionnaire was developed to measure risk perception, investment decision-making, and financial knowledge before and after the experiment. The study utilized VR technology to create an immersive and realistic trading environment for participants to engage in simulated trading activities within financial markets. The study demonstrated that VR interventions significantly enhanced participants’ financial knowledge, risk perception, and investment decision-making skills. Participants engaged in simulated trading activities using the virtual platform showed improvements in their understanding of investment strategies and risk assessment.
