Global Relationships of Energy Patents with Environmental and Economic Variables with Inference to Income and Innovation Level of Countries
摘要
This study examines the relationships between energy patents and environmental, energy, and macroeconomic variables at the global level. The goal is to uncover insights into the direction of these relationships so that policymakers can implement targeted, country-specific strategies to protect the environment and ensure sustainable economic growth in the context of examining green energy technology efforts. The results show that the energy mix drives green energy research in all data cases examined in this study, regardless of the income of the countries, including the innovative countries, a finding that is quite interesting regarding the role that energy patents play in green energy production.
