摘要

This paper investigated the effect of global climate change (temperature and precipitation) and environmental regulation on human health indicator (infant mortality rate, adult mortality rate, and life expectancy at birth) in the 27 European Union countries for the period 1995–2020. Based on the stationary tests, all variables are integral of order 0 and 1. However, two methods modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) and dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS) have been used. The empirical result found that a higher level of temperature and precipitation would lead to an increase in the number of infant mortality and adult mortality and a decrease in life expectancy. On the other hand, strong environmental regulations and level of economic growth lead to a decrease in the rate of infant mortality and adult mortality and an increase in life expectancy.
