摘要

Musculoskeletal pain is among the most prevalent pain conditions in children and adolescents, with an increasing proportion of nonspecific and psychosocially influenced presentations. Due to heterogeneous symptoms, high risk of chronification and complex biopsychosocial determinants, effective care requires an interdisciplinary and multimodal approach. Nurses play a pivotal role within this team: they perform structured pain assessments, identify early risk factors, and contribute substantially to treatment planning and evaluation of both pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions. Education and psychosocial support are essential components of nursing care, promoting self-efficacy, functional activity, and adherence to therapy. This article outlines the responsibilities of nursing professionals in interdisciplinary pain management, presents evidence-based assessment instruments and intervention strategies, and illustrates their integration using a clinical case of a child with functional musculoskeletal pain. The findings emphasize that nursing expertise enhances care quality, supports medical decision-making, and contributes to reducing the risk of developing chronic pain.
