摘要

An uncommon, benign, locally aggressive tumour, odontogenic fibroma usually develops as painless expansion of the maxillary or mandibular cortical plate. It manifests as a unilocular or multilocular radiolucent lesion. Surgical enucleation usually results in a good outcome. We describe a 45-year-old male who had an odontogenic fibroma that was effectively treated with chemical cauterisation, enucleation, curettage, and peripheral ostectomy.
