<p>Odontogenic cutaneous sinus tract (OCST) is one of the sequela of chronic dental infections that can mimic other skin conditions. We report a case of misdiagnosed chronic OCST of a 51-year-old female patient, with no apparent dental symptoms, who presented with skin crust and dimpling on the chin associated with periodic drainage. Patient was treated via extraction of the causative tooth (lower left canine) and surgical excision of cutaneous pipe-like tract. Here we try to address and reinforce the characteristic features of such lesions as an attempt to avoid misdiagnosis by medical staff and subsequent need of a more aggressive treatment.</p>
