Application of Sterile Dressing for Surgical Excision of Postauricular Lesions in Dermatologic Surgery
摘要
Background
Surgical exposure of postauricular skin lesions is challenging.
MethodUsing a sterile dressing to expose the location of postauricular: A V-shaped notch (one-third of the side length) is cut at the dressing midline. The auricle is folded and secured within the notch.
ResultFolding and fixing the auricle into the dressing notch improves surgical exposure and minimizes contamination risks.
ConclusionThe intraoperative use of dressings to expose postauricular skin lesions is a convenient and low-cost method worthy of clinical promotion.
