摘要

This article summarizes reflections that the authors were inspired to make on the occasion of an invitation to give the keynote lecture at the 36th annual conference of the dvs Section for Sport Pedagogy 2023 with the topic “Sport pedagogy—the seat between the chairs?” Content structures are reconstructed as so-called areas of tension and practices as possible ways of dealing with these areas of tension. The authors assume that the heuristic of fields of tension is also relevant in other subdisciplines of sports science and that the identified forms of behavior can contribute to taking an analytical look at such discourses. The scientific course of self-referential analysis in the sports science subdiscipline of sport pedagogy has so far focused on the deepening of individual areas of tension, which represent developmentally relevant areas of play for heterogeneous scientific orientations. We have worked out various possibilities for action as polarization, separation, integration, negation, and dialectics.
