<p>This study investigates the physicochemical properties, fatty acid profile, tocopherol and sterol composition of <i>Marrubium vulgare</i> seed oil (MVSO), with the aim of evaluating its potential for nutritional and industrial applications. The seeds exhibit a high reproductive capacity and yield an oil content of 24.8% through Soxhlet extraction using hexane. GC-MS analysis revealed that MVSO is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, with oleic (44.86%), linoleic (23.74%), and linolenic acids (22.56%) as major constituents. The oil’s favorable omega-6/omega-3 ratio (1.05), high PUFA/SFA ratio (4.56), and low atherogenicity (0.097) and thrombogenicity (0.086) indices support its cardiovascular benefits. Physicochemical analysis demonstrated good oxidative stability, attributed to its high total tocopherol content (1280&#xa0;mg/kg), predominantly γ-tocopherol. MVSO also presented a high iodine value (140.4&#xa0;g I₂/100&#xa0;g), low viscosity (38.7&#xa0;mm²/s), and significant unsaponifiable matter (1.42%), highlighting its suitability for diverse industrial uses. The sterol profile was dominated by β-sitosterol (47.8%) and included high levels of Δ<sup>5</sup>-avenasterol and stigmasterol. Overall, MVSO shows strong promise as a functional oil for use in food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical formulations.</p>
