<p>We examine the relationship between the Noether symmetries of the geodesic Lagrangian and the elements of the homothetic algebra of a Riemannian space. Using this connection, we demonstrate that the classification of Noether symmetries is equivalent to the classification of the homothetic algebra. Finally, we point out that recent analyses aimed at deriving the Noether symmetries of the geodesic Lagrangian in FLRW spacetimes reproduce results that were already established and published more than a decade ago.</p>

摘要

We examine the relationship between the Noether symmetries of the geodesic Lagrangian and the elements of the homothetic algebra of a Riemannian space.
