<p>A continuous-wave (CW) orthogonally polarized dual-wavelength Sm<sup>3+</sup>:LiLuF<sub>4</sub> (Sm:LLF) red laser on <sup>4</sup>G<sub>5/2</sub> → <sup>6</sup>H<sub>9/2</sub> transition was demonstrated for the first time. Under pumping with a frequency-doubled optically pumped semiconductor laser (2ω-OPSL) emitting 10 W at 479&#xa0;nm, a dual-wavelength red laser at 644&#xa0;nm in σ-polarization and 649&#xa0;nm in π-polarization was obtained with the maximum total output power of 458 mW. The corresponding optical-to-optical conversion efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power was 5.9%. By adjusting the pump power or the tilt angle of the etalon, the output power ratio of dual-wavelength laser can be controlled. Orthogonally polarized dual-wavelength visible laser play an important role in precision measurement, imaging and other applications.</p>
