The Green Symphony: Harmonizing Organizational Green Culture, Employee Happiness, and Corporate Social Responsibility to Propel Employee Green Behavior
摘要
Based on the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions and cognitive-affective processing system theory, the purpose of the study is to investigate a serial mediation model connecting organizational green culture (OGC) with employee green behavior (EGB) through corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employee happiness (EH) at work. Data were collected from 591 full-time employees working in the manufacturing and service sectors in Ankara, Türkiye. A serial mediation model was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) method via Mplus 7.31. The results demonstrated that OGC was positively and directly related to EGB. OGC had an indirect effect on EGB through CSR, as well as on EGB through EH at work. The indirect effect of OGC on EGB was serially mediated by CSR and EH at work. The tested model enhances our understanding of CSR and its impact on individual environmental behavior by incorporating affective mediating mechanisms.
