Application of Smart Agriculture and Digital Transformation Under Organic Planting-A Case Study of Young Farmers’ Cooperative in Northern Taiwan
摘要
Under the backdrop of global environmental climate change, human management of food crises will become more sophisticated. Organic cultivation requires greater observation and care, making intelligent production increasingly necessary to meet future demands. This study focuses on young small-scale farmers in northern Taiwan, examining their benefits from joining production and marketing cooperatives and receiving guidance in adopting smart technologies. The research findings reveal that implementing smart technologies can contribute to productivity development, especially for small-scale farmers with limited cultivation areas. Additionally, aggregating small-scale farmers into production and marketing cooperatives enables more effective utilization of big data for planned production and sales, creating more significant benefits for farmers participating in group marketing.
