Formation of the nonlinear aspheric lens in the organic dye layer irradiated by laser Gaussian beam
摘要
The organic dye layer irradiated (IODL) by the laser Gaussian beam (LGB) is seen as the nonlinear Gradient-index (GRIN) lens, which has been used for nonlinear optical tweezers and other applications. Although it has advantages, the optical quality as well as its optical essence are not clear up to now. In this paper, we use the geometry method to correct the optical curvature surface of the IODL. The expressions describing the optical surface profile (optical sag) and radius of curvature are derived. The simulated results are applied for the Orange G dye layer with different values of the physical thickness, the nonlinear coefficient of index of IODL, and intensity and beam waist of the LGB. The obtained results are discussed about the optical sag and optical curvature surface of the IODL to prove the essence of the nonlinear aspheric lens and its opportunity to reduce or correct the optical aberration.
