Nonreciprocal thermal radiation in silicon grating composing of Weyl semimetal layer
摘要
A nonreciprocal heat emitter consisting of a periodically arrayed Weyl semimetal(WSM) and silicon grating placed on a metal reflector is proposed and investigated. Numerical results show that strong nonreciprocal radiation is achieved at a certain angle. Calculating the magnetic field distribution at the resonance frequency can explain the physical mechanism. In addition, the strong nonreciprocal radiation at other angles is investigated to provide a variety of choices for practical applications. Finally, the nonreciprocal absorption was adjusted by modifying the geometrical parameters of the structure.
