<p>The study, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, aims to develop and implement three tailor-made pilot projects on peer work in collaboration with people experiencing poverty and experts in the cities of Bern, Biel and Neuchâtel, and to explore their impact. Using participatory, qualitative and quantitative methods, the study will investigate how peer work affects access to private and public support organisations and the well-being of people affected by poverty. The project will create in-depth knowledge about the low-threshold support offered by peer work and about the well-being of its users, and provide a&#xa0;basis for further research on the topic. In addition, it identifies the conditions for optimising access to support services at the individual and institutional level and raises awareness of complex and precarious life situations. The project contributes to the participation of people experiencing poverty in matters that affect their lives.</p>
