Digitale Gemeinschaftsarchive als Stützen des biografischen Erinnerns an Heimerziehung – Grundlagen und Befunde einer sozialpädagogischen Studie

The article deals with the support of biographical memories of residential care. To this end, the foundations and central findings of a sociopedagogical study are discussed, in which the participatory development of a digital community archive with members of a residential group in Germany was investigated. Based on these findings it is concluded that the creation, collection and making available of memory aids is an indispensable part of sociopedagogical care for the well-being of addressees during and after life in a residential care home.
