Recent advancements have focused on improving the extraction process of bio-components and maintaining their integrity. To maintain the stability of health supplements, including capsules and tablets of wheatgrass, they should be stored in airtight conditions with non-transparent packaging. Encapsulation techniques have shown the ability to preserve the antioxidant property of wheatgrass. Both <i>in vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i> experiments have revealed that wheatgrass has the capacity to protect against oxidative stress, offering a choice for preventing various health problems in the human body. Further, large-scale clinical trials will add to the current understanding of wheatgrass health benefits.</p>
