摘要

Surface micro-texturing serves as an effective strategy for enhancing tribological performance, demonstrating immense potential for application in friction reduction and lubrication. This paper focuses on this domain, providing a systematic review of the fabrication technologies, geometric parameter design, and their intrinsic correlation with the tribological performance of surface micro-textures. A critical analysis is provided on the characteristics and applicability of mainstream fabrication methods, notably femtosecond laser texturing, coupled with an in-depth investigation into how key parameters—such as shape, density, and distribution—regulate friction and wear behavior. By elucidating these mechanisms, this review provides theoretical support and technical references for the practical application of micro-textures, enabling them to fully leverage their excellent friction-reducing and lubricating effects in key application scenarios such as mechanical systems, biomedical applications, and functional material surfaces, thereby promoting their engineering application in the high-end equipment sector.
