<p>This contribution aims to analyze the specific vulnerabilities of the historic center of Venice and to develop an evaluative method capable of taking into account both the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of the built environment through the use of georeferenced information systems. In particular, the study focuses on the analysis of vulnerabilities related to the gradual phenomenon of mean sea level rise and on an approach for the identification of site-specific surface temperatures based on remote sensing data. Finally, the work addresses the integration of the different types of datasets into a single spatial management platform (GIS), referenced to individual historic buildings.</p>
