<p>The Public Health Foresight Study (VTV-2024) provides an overview of policy options for addressing the challenges that lie ahead. In formulating these options, normative perspectives were employed during sessions involving both stakeholders and citizens. In this article, we describe the design and implementation of the various sessions, present the results obtained, and discuss the advantages and limitations associated with this approach. The application of normative perspectives supports the development of broadly supported solutions and policy options. It broadens the participants’ horizons and encourages the exploration of options that align with societal values and broader societal developments.</p>
