<p>Part&#xa0;1 of this essay noted developments in international anticipation approaches that impact the theory and practice of politics. Part&#xa0;2 takes a&#xa0;closer look at a&#xa0;leitmotif of contemporary—and probably future—anticipatory politics: the globalized techno-society as a&#xa0;driver of “futuring” in international relations. New technologies feature an increasing level of “intelligence” and are thereby changing the imaginary regarding futures, and thus the subject of anticipatory politics on both national and international levels.</p>
