<p>We conduct a dynamical analysis of Pollard’s exact solution to the nonlinear lee waves problem in the <i>f</i>-plane approximation. Further, we derive particle orbits and the dispersion relation, and discuss some properties of the pressure, density and vorticity.</p>

摘要

We conduct a dynamical analysis of Pollard’s exact solution to the nonlinear lee waves problem in the f-plane approximation. Further, we derive particle orbits and the dispersion relation, and discuss some properties of the pressure, density and vorticity.
