Current treatment strategies emphasize antifungal agents like itraconazole and amphotericin B, with liposomal amphotericin B showing promise for severe cases, particularly in immunocompromised individuals.</p> Summary <p>Histoplasmosis ranges from asymptomatic to severe disseminated forms, often affecting the skin in immunocompromised patients.
