摘要

Cis-regulatory elements are promising targets for genome editing in crop improvement. However, our understanding of their activity is limited. Plant STARR-seq enables the quantitative, systematic, high-throughput measurement of regulatory activity. In combination with machine learning, this approach opens up new possibilities for the analysis, prediction, and design of regulatory DNA sequences.
