Dynamisches Einzelzellverhalten von L. innocua nach Bacteriocin-Exposition
摘要
The use of bacteriocins is a promising alternative to antibiotics in therapeutic treatment and food preservation. Traditional assays for the identification of novel bacteriocins rely on bulk measurements neglecting the heterogeneity in responses of cells. Microfluidic tools in combination with live-cell imaging are promising for time-resolved single-cell analysis under precisely controllable environmental conditions. Our results show differences in survival of individual cells of Listeria innocua after nisin exposure.
