Low transduction efficiencies limit the effectiveness of retroviral vectors in gene therapy. Self-assembling nanostructures, such as peptide nanofibrils (PNF) and peptide amphiphiles (PA), are powerful transduction enhancers that address this challenge. They are highly effective, versatile, and cost-efficient, with broad applicability across various cell types. Their ease of GMP-compliant production and seamless integration into CAR-T and CAR-NK cell manufacturing processes make them ideal tools for advancing gene therapy.
