<p>This case involves a 3-year-old female with the unusual occurrence of both a patent vitellointestinal duct and a patent urachus. She presented with a foul-smelling discharge from the umbilicus for the past 6&#xa0;months. There was no active discharge from the umbilicus at the time of presentation, and on examination, tenderness was noted at the umbilicus. Ultrasonography reported the presence of an infected urachal cyst. Upon umbilical exploration, a patent vitellointestinal duct and a patent urachus were discovered along with an umbilical cyst. Excision of the patent urachus and umbilical cyst was done with wedge resection of the patent vitellointestinal duct. The patient has been followed up postoperatively and has been doing well. Histopathological examination confirmed the nature of the intraoperative specimens.</p>

摘要
