<p>Spontaneous ureteric rupture is an uncommon urological emergency, typically associated with obstructive uropathy. Chikungunya virus (CHIKV), an arthritogenic alphavirus, has been linked to various systemic complications, though urological manifestations are rarely reported. We describe a 57-year-old male with no comorbidities who presented with acute left-sided abdominal pain. One month prior, he had experienced a febrile illness with polyarthralgia and was subsequently diagnosed with CHIKV infection based on positive serology. Imaging revealed a 4&#xa0;mm left proximal ureteric calculus with evidence of urinary extravasation consistent with spontaneous ureteric rupture. The patient underwent emergency percutaneous nephrostomy followed by antegrade stenting. He recovered uneventfully and was discharged after stent removal. This is the first reported case of spontaneous proximal ureteric rupture temporally associated with recent chikungunya virus infection. While the ureteric calculus was likely contributory, the potential role of CHIKV-associated systemic inflammation warrants further exploration.</p>
