摘要

Breast reconstruction is required in women with multifocal carcinoma breast undergoing mastectomy or those with positive genetic mutation opting for prophylactic mastectomy. Implant-based breast reconstruction is a preferred approach for immediate breast reconstruction especially after skin and nipple sparing mastectomy. Although the pectoralis major can provide nearly total coverage of the implant, the infero lateral portion of the implant is often left uncovered. In order to provide secure coverage of the lower and lateral portion of the silicone breast sub-pectoral implant, a dermal allograft is commonly advised. We describe a trans-position dermal flap from adjacent site to securely cover the prosthesis laterally.
