摘要

As automated driving technology advances, the interior of the vehicle is transforming into a place to relax and work. The application of interface technologies is increasing, and the institutional basis for the commercialization of Level 3 automated vehicles is being secured. Therefore, this study proposes an interface scenario that can safely respond to hazardous situations in Level 3 automated vehicles by utilizing interface technologies. Based on the PEGASUS Project’s scenario generation framework, the driving modes are defined by hierarchical layers. Subsequently, the operational criteria for interface technologies in crisis situations are classified into four cases, and corresponding safety–convenience response scenarios are proposed by integrating the driving mode and interface operating criteria. As a result, the proposed framework is expected to enhance compliance with automated vehicle safety standards and improve overall safety and reliability by enabling effective responses to critical situations.
