摘要

This paper proposes a methodology to enhance and evaluate the energy efficiency of an electric vehicle (EV) equipped with a wound-field synchronous motor (WFSM). The study introduces a systematic approach that includes: (1) a motor specification determination method based on EV driving conditions, considering vehicle parameters, driving cycles, and resistive forces derived from mathematical analysis; (2) a WFSM design strategy aimed at improving energy efficiency, incorporating optimal selection of magnetic materials and conductors, geometric design optimization, and loss evaluation using both analytical and finite element methods; (3) performance analysis of the EV equipped with the designed WFSM through vehicle simulations; and (4) experimental validation of the proposed design and analysis framework. The findings of this study provide a structured and practical approach to optimizing WFSMs for EV applications, contributing to the development of more energy-efficient and high-performance electric propulsion systems.
