Heptapleurum anamudianum (Araliaceae), a new species from Eravikulam National Park, Kerala, India

Heptapleurum anamudianum, a new species of Araliaceae from the Anamudi Hills of Idukki District, Kerala, India, is described and compared to H. rostratum and H. clarkei. The species differs distinctly from all other taxa by its leaves, inflorescence architecture, stylar extension, and trichome morphology. A detailed description, distribution, phenology, illustrations, photographs, and a conservation assessment following IUCN Red List criteria are provided to facilitate identification and conservation prioritization.
