<p><i>Ophiorrhiza alejandroi</i> Naive, a species new to science in Sultan Kudarat of Southern Mindanao, Philippines is described and illustrated. It is comparable to <i>O. ravifolia</i> but can be easily recognised in having an erect habit, inconspicuously corrugated stem, dorsoventrally colliculate and puberulent leaf lamina and spreading corolla lobes with acute apices. A complete taxonomic treatment is provided including a comprehensive morphological description, diagnostic comparisons with allied taxa, phenological data, a distribution map, illustrations and a provisional conservation assessment.</p>

Ophiorrhiza alejandroi Naive, a species new to science in Sultan Kudarat of Southern Mindanao, Philippines is described and illustrated.
