摘要

This study presents a low-overload, time-delay, recoverable safety and arming device (SAD) for self-propelled munitions. The planar mechanism uses a spring–mass structure and an escapement to achieve delayed arming. Simulations predict a minimum arming threshold of 8.4 g and a delay of 91.92 ms, while centrifuge tests confirm reliable operation under 13–15 g. The device shows stable arming and repeatable reset, and its planar design enables further miniaturization.
