Theoretical and experimental characterization of the fundamental frequencies of a two-degree-of-freedom platform incorporating piezoelectric ceramics and terminal loads
摘要
The influence of piezoelectric actuators (PEAs) and terminal loads on the fundamental frequency is often overlooked. This paper aims to rectify this omission by elucidating their effects. The equivalent dynamic model of PEAs is first established. A generalized dynamic modeling method with PEAs and terminal loads is then proposed. Subsequently, finite element analysis (FEA) is used to verify the theoretical model under three conditions: without PEAs and terminal loads, only PEAs, and with PEAs and terminal loads. Finally, the results of sweep and hammer experiments verify the accuracy of the proposed method, and PEAs increase the fundamental frequency, while the terminal loads decreases it.
