摘要

This study introduces a novel analysis of the mechanical and thermal properties of hybrid epoxy composites reinforced with natural fibers, raw jute and banana in various weight ratios (100/0, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75, 0/100). The research uniquely explores the synergistic interaction between the two fibers to enhance composite performance. Hybrid laminates were fabricated using a molding process and evaluated through standard tests, including tensile, flexural, impact, thermal, and moisture absorption assessments. The findings highlight that a 50/50 jute-banana fiber blend offers optimal results with significantly reduced moisture absorption and improved mechanical and thermal properties. Furthermore, SEM analysis revealed detailed fiber matrix interactions, fiber pull out behavior, and fracture characteristics, contributing new insights into the behavior of natural fiber reinforced hybrid composites.
