Design and mixing performance analysis of a new static mixer for hydrogen-doped natural gas
摘要
The installation of static mixers in pipelines can effectively shorten the distance of uniform gas mixing, thus reducing the possibility of hydrogen embrittle in the pipeline during hydrogen-doped natural gas transportation, and ensuring the safety of hydrogen-doped natural gas transportation and terminal utilization. In this study, a new structure of static mixer for hydrogen and natural gas is designed, and its mixing performance is analyzed based on numerical simulation. The results show that the mixing performance of the new mixer is the best when the number of curved fairings is 2 and the number of SK spoilers is 4. The new static mixer has good mixing performance under the transportation condition of 5 %∼30 % hydrogen blending ratio and 5 m/s∼25 m/s natural gas flow rate. This new structure can provide reference for the design and optimization of static mixers of hydrogen and natural gas.
